Milton “June Bug” Griffin served the Albany, Dougherty County community for many years. He was a well-respected, honorable man who always wore an infectious smile and never met a stranger. He wore many hats in his lifetime and many would say he was a jack of all trades.

He was a staunch advocate for youth development in the areas of education and scholarship as well as sports. Although he was elected to the Dougherty County School System to represent District 2, he worked for and supported students all over the county as well as the school system employees.

Griffin was a leader and a valued member of our community and our city will remember his legacy for years to come.
